Full vs. Half Day Programs

Half Day Program

Our half day program begins at 8:30 am, when your child arrives at school & is greeted by their friends at group learning centers. They are encouraged to join group play for 30 minutes before clean up & our day begins!

At 9 o'clock our school gathers to sing songs & discuss our weeks Creative Curriculum theme before breaking into classes.

Once in classrooms each child is served breakfast, and class begins shortly after. Each day we teach our students our Core Curriculum then move onto fun art projects, science experiments, team building activities & language and literature. We spend two hours in classrooms then move to our outdoor activities where children run, play & explore our outdoor play equipment with friends.

At 12:00 o'clock a nutritious lunch is served and children are picked up by their parents or guardians at 12:30 and their day is over with us but we're sure they will have lots to tell you about their fun adventures at preschool.

Full Day Program

Our Full Day Program offers families a day full of activities for your preschooler within a 9 hour day. Anderson Country Preschool is open from 6:30 am - 6:00 pm and families enrolled in our full day program are allowed any 9 hours during our hours of operation.

Our full day program is similar to our Half Day Program in that all children experience the same morning schedule.

After lunch children take a brief rest/nap while they watch a movie or listen to soothing music. After rest we awake & head outdoors for some large motor play before cleaning up & breaking into classes again.

In our afternoon class sessions children participate in group games, small motor skill exercises, or pretend play. Our staff leads fun afternoon projects while children are slowly picked up by parents & guardians for the day.

Not Potty Trained? Not a Problem!

We Work with YOUR Schedule

As we take children as young as two years old we help children who are not yet potty trained to ease into a potty routine. This is a primary focus in our two year old classroom. Is your child older than two & not potty trained? Worry not! We help ALL children achieve potty training success!
We understand that not everyone needs childcare Monday through Friday & work with a variety of schedules. Please let us know what days work best for you & we will certainly try to accommodate your needs.
