Our Philosophies

At Anderson Country Preschool we offer our families more than a safe place for their child while they are away. We strive to give each and every child a home away from home atmosphere where we set goals, create structure, and help each child achieve their personal best. It is our standard to create a line of open communication with parents and guardians so that we can work together as a team in enriching their child's lives.

We are a teaching facility; which means that we love spending our days with your children but we offer so much more than a watchful eye. Daily we teach core curriculum which are the fundamentals to Kindergarten readiness, then we move on to our carefully planned Creative Curriculum. Each week we set a theme & revolve our learning around the Creative Curriculum theme. We offer science, language & literature, math, sensory, large & small motor activities & so much more! We believe that giving your child the best educational start with fun & exciting learning tactics helps them on their next steps in their academic career. It starts at the foundation & that is where Anderson Country Preschool steps up & delivers.

Community

We are more than just a preschool community, we are involved with our local Big Bear community as well. We work with local businesses & family based non-profits to benefit our small mountain town!

Responsibility

Each child is given the tools to be responsible for themselves, their actions and their belongings. We work in groups where children take turns in leadership positions.

Personal Strength

By setting goals &  encouraging children to achieve tasks they gain the strength to try new things. When children look at problems with a sense of adventure & fearlessness they gain more personal satisfaction.
